CRDF Global is an independent nonprofit organization that promotes safety, security, and sustainability through international development and foreign assistance missions in over 120 countries is looking for Senior Human Resources Manager.
The Senior Human Resources Manager will shape and direct the Human Resources (HR) functions of the Eurasia Hub (Hub) supporting the strategic development of the Eurasia Hub, as part of the Hub leadership team, and CRDF’s global Talent Management function. This will include bringing forward organizational and team development strategies that augment our corporate competitive position, selecting, recruiting and developing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Major Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Hub Leadership Team and CRDF Global’s Talent Management Function, contributes to the development of Talent Management strategies.
- Executes CRDF Global’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to the current and future talent management needs of the hub.
- Analyzes the labour market to identify trends and opportunities in talent acquisition and management, for the Hub and CRDF globally, researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts, retains and leverages top talent.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, including selection, recruitment and onboarding, providing professional support and guidance to hiring managers.
- Provides support and guidance when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees and support business strategy.
- Maintains compliance with Ukrainian and regional employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and labor law to maintain competitive advantage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and professional qualification in human resource management or organizational development.
- A minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience in an international working environment.
- Established knowledge of Ukraine Labour Law and Regulations, and experience of other regional labour laws and regulations (desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluent Ukrainian, Russian and excellent English
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
