PROGRAM MANAGER

Responsibilities

Assist the Program Director in planning, implementation and evaluation of Heifer-Ukraine projects

Process information requests and project proposals developed by Project Holders (PH)

Take active part in fundraising, including development of project proposals, budgets, logical frame, and appeal campaigns for various donors

Guide institutional strengthening and capacity building of PH/agriculture service cooperatives

Coordinate implementation, and monitor designated projects

Provide advice on AWB, enterprise development, agricultural and environmental issues and supervise the process selection and delivery of animals.

Education and/or Experience: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in management, economics, animal wellbeing (animal science, veterinary medicine), public administration, or other relevant fields. At least 5-year experience in working with international organizations in the field of development of rural communities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Practical skills in AWB and project management.

Writing skills for publications, stories, articles

Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Internet. Fluent English, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Valid driver’s license, practical skills.
