“Children’s Safety on the Internet” Program Coordinator

PH International, an innovative, not-for-profit professional exchange and training organization with 13 offices and over 140 employees in the US, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, and Ukraine, seeks an experienced Ukrainian national to join the team in Kyiv, Ukraine as Project Coordinator for the “Children’s Safety on the Internet” Program sponsored by the Microsoft Partners in Learning Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure smooth operation and functioning of program
- Oversee the implementation of program activities in Ukraine: trainings, special events, mailings, on-line conferences, websites (www.onlandia.org.ua and www.onlandia.spaces.live.com),
- Promote program among NGOs, schools, teachers, parents, children and in communities
- Organize all trainings, prepare budgets, manage finances
- Communicate a clear vision of present and future program goals; provide leadership and direction; develop a program strategy to be communicated to team members, local partners and the international community
- Develop and maintain both internal and external relationships to ensure optimum program success, including PH International headquarters and field offices, international and local NGOs, U.S. and Ukrainian government officials, donor organizations, embassies, vendors, media and the general public.
- Ensure timely and complete program evaluations and reporting to sponsor
- Expand and promote program activities and actively solicit corporate sponsorship to fund program enhancement
- Some travel is required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skills in three languages (Ukrainian, Russian and English)
- Proficiency in MS Office, e-mail, and Internet usage
- International work experience preferred
- Knowledge of general grant practices, rules and regulations a plus
