Finance and Operations Administrator у МБФ «Добробут громад» (Київ)

International Charitable Fund Community Wellbeing (ICF CW) seeking candidates for the position of  Finance and Operations Administrator (based in Kyiv office).

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure finance and operations issues handled properly
  • Supervise budgets development while seeking funding and budgets execution for projects and office activities, tracking expenditures and making financial projections for portfolio of projects, participate in fundraising efforts
  • Organize appropriate trainings in budgeting, accounting and financial reporting for Project Holders
  • Communicate finance issues with donors, partners and auditors
  • Supervise preparation of records and submission of financial reports, semiannual reports in compliance with donors’ rules and regulations and local requirements
  • Be liable for ensuring safekeeping and accounting of the flow of material values and money resources and cash in hand
  • Maintenance 1-C accounting system in accordance with the accounting standards
  • Be liable for preparing the Bank transfer orders through the Client-Bank system based on the complete approved primary accounting documents
  • Ensure control of preparation and keeping of the primary accounting documents
  • Ensure preparation and provision of the inventory count reports on the flow and the balance of material values (including petrol) and money resources
  • Conduct acceptance and release of material values and money resources and cash in hand according documents and procedures established by donors and Fund and aligned with the current legislation
  • Be liable for taking inventory and in-house checkouts
  • Assist in preparation and submission of all necessary reports required by the Local Tax authorities and other state agencies
  • Collect and analyze project holders’ financial information. Conduct audit on project holders’ economic activities

Qualifications required

  • Master Degree in Finance, Accounting/Audit or the equivalent from the recognized institution
  • At least 5 years professional experience, preferably for International NGOs, International Technical assistance programs
  • Fluent English and Ukrainian, both, verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian and International accounting standards
  • Strong knowledge of word processing, excel spreadsheets, 1-C software, client-bank
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
