Дніпропетровська обласна молодіжна громадська організація «МІКС» запрошує Вас взяти участь в молодіжному обміні «На перехресті демократії», що відбудеться 15-25 липня в м. Вентспилс, Латвія.

Проект має на меті активувати молодих людей віком від 18 до 25 років з 6 країн (Україна, Росія, Вірменія, Латвія, Естонія, Чехія) та залучити їх до участі в прийнятті рішень на місцевому рівні.

Youth exchange will take place in Ventspils, Latvia on 15th-25th of Julay. 24 young people, aged of 18 to 25 from 6 different countries will participate in the project. Youth exchange activities will last 9 days (day of arrival and departure excluded).

During the project participants will learn more about the main principles of democracy, human rights, youth participation and active citizenship. Young people will discuss not only theoretical concepts of those topics but exchange their practical experience in it. During the visits to state institutions youth will have an opportunity see the working process of national governmental agencies and local structures. That will equip them with new knowledge and tools, which they can apply throughout their community life. Practical skills in event holding, lobbing, photo shooting and flyer making will be gained by participants during the project.

Youth exchange “On the crossroad of democratization” encourages young people from 6 states (both EU and Post-Soviet ones) to think about problems of their countries and local communities they represent. Participants will discuss situation in their countries, exchange its democratization experience, observe weak and strong sides of their experience and try to find their role in the future of Europe.

As a result participants will make photo report on democracy and human rights problems and organize exhibition in Ventspils, Latvia. As each group will try to keep a geographical balance, after returning back all participants will have a chance to organize the same exhibitions at their local communities.
