INSEAD is inviting women applicants from Central and Eastern Europe to apply for Helmut Meier Scholarship. These scholarships are available for pursuing MBA course at Insead campuses.
This scholarship was established to help the school attract talented women candidates from Central & Eastern Europe to the MBA programme. Increasing the number of women participants is a significant part of INSEAD’s commitment to creating a more equitable, diverse and innovative business world.
INSEAD is a graduate business school with campuses in Europe offers various academic programs including a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, Executive MBA (EMBA) program, a Master in Finance program, a PhD in management program, and a variety of executive education programs.
Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

Eligibility: Women candidates who are nationals of the following countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Romania, Ukraine. Candidates should have undergone a major part of their education in their country of nationality as well as having acquired working experience there. Candidates admitted to the MBA Programme or invited to the admission interview will be considered.
Nationality: Students from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Romania, Ukraine can apply for this women scholarship.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement:
Work experience-INSEAD does not have an absolute requirement for years of work experience, although at least two years is strongly encouraged. Participants in our current class have an average of 5.5 years work experience, with the range being between two and ten. However, applicants with less experience who demonstrate exceptional maturity and outstanding leadership through their professional and personal experiences will also be considered.
Age limit for entry-There is no age limit for entry. However, the MBA is aimed at those who are at an early stage in their career. INSEAD participants in the current class have a range of between two and ten years of post-graduate work experience.
Undergraduate degree-Candidates who do not hold an undergraduate degree, but who have an excellent career record and GMAT score are also welcome to apply.
Minimum qualifying GPA-INSEAD does not have a minimum GPA requirement as the GPA system is not a globally used grading methodology. They primarily look at the courses taken and the grades received in each course, in addition to the overall academic performance.
Test Requirement
GMAT: GMAT reporting code (through Pearson Vue) is INSEAD: DL3-S8-89 MBA, Full Time. INSEAD does not have a minimum required GMAT score. Rather than focusing on overall score, they assess individual results in the quantitative and verbal sections of the exam. They need student to demonstrate their strengths in both. In order to be competitive, student should aim to achieve a score at or above the 70 – 75 percentiles in both the quantitative and verbal sections.
GRE: INSEAD accept GRE scores. The ETS code to report the score to INSEAD is 0970 and the score is valid for five years. In order to be competitive, applicant should aim to achieve a score at or above the 80th percentiles in both the quantitative and verbal sections.
English Language Requirement
Minimum required scores: TOEFL IBT: 105; TOEFL CBT: 260; TOEFL PBT: 620; TOEIC (all four parts are required): Listening and Reading: 950 – TOEIC Writing: 170 – TOEIC Speaking: 190; IELTS Academic or General: 7.5; PTE Academic: 72; and CPE: B.
