It will gather 32 youth ngos’ and youth workers dealing with migration issues from EU and non-EU countries(Turkey, The Neederlands, Spain, Lithuania, Romania, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Azerbaijan and Albania) to address issues pertaining to challenges and opportunities related to migration and mobility in Europe. Issues such as East-West and South-North migration, European mobility programmes as well as raising awareness of the challenges of international migration and the role of young people in it will be discussed. As a result of the training course, participating youth workers will gain knowledge and skills necessary in developing migration and mobility-related projects in their countries and communities.
The program will include inputs by experts, group discussions and artistic workshops providing participants with learning opportunities. Emphasis will be placed promoting a constructive debate on migration and youth mobility in Europe and on co-operation in the youth field. Trainers and invited experts will share practical and theoretical knowledge on the topics, through plenary sessions, discussions, workshops, creativity sessions, role plays, intercultural & interactive exercises and other non-formal educational methods e.g.: LSD (learning, space and dynamics). Essential throughout the TC will be the input and experience sharing by participants as well as the creation of short movies on migration and mobility awareness.
